Hogan Testing is the testing of Hogan Systems.

Hogan Systems is more than just one of the most trusted brands in the industry. Hogan is high performance core banking software that is leading banks worldwide into the future with real-time processing, scalability and lower total cost of ownership.

So, basically it is based on banking domain.

It supports all delivered mainframe test cycle JCL and interfaces with Micro Focus products, for the execution of COBOL and Assembler batch programs.

Some of the key points are:

1. Offl oads application coding and minimizes the use of support software, such as Xpediter and TSO, signifi cantly reducing mainframe charge-back costs and often delaying the need for CPU upgrades.

2. Provides unit testing on the PC, resulting in better quality code and reducing expenses associated with mainframe error correction

3. Allows more thorough unit testing, reducing costs while improving test phase turnaround and code quality

4. Provides enhanced debugging capabilities, yielding less costly fi xes at the PC instead of the mainframe

5. Decreases development and testing on the mainframe, reducing load and connect charges to the host system.
